How the process works:
Money Coaching combines practical financial guidance with sound psychological principles to help you transform your relationship with money.
Change of any kind can only take place under certain conditions. In Money Coaching, these conditions are threefold:
- An understanding and new level of awareness of what the problem or issue is.
- The willingness to change, which literally involves doing something different than what we’ve been doing previously.
- Implement new strategies and actions for change
Stage I – Core Process
The Initial Process begins with four weekly sessions in which we work on understanding your “money history” through a series of exercises. This process will help us to see what your underlying core patterns and beliefs are. From there, we move forward to see how those patterns have manifested and how they are currently impacting your life today. From this perspective, we determine what self-limiting behaviors are present and how they are influencing your behavior, choices, or perhaps, creating stress or blocks in your financial life.
In the first four sessions we work together to understand the impact your family of origin has had in forming your core money patterns, work with your money archetypes, and assess how these patterns are currently influencing your ability to be fully self-actuated around money.
The Money Coaching Process is highly experiential and during the first four sessions you will learn how you are “hardwired” around money in ways that are generally not fully conscious. By the end of the fourth session, you will have a clear understanding of your core money patterns and will begin to work on your “Money Coaching Action Plan.”
* For optimal results Stage I and Stage II are done consecutively.
Stage II- Money Coaching Action Plan
This next stage is designed with your particular needs and issues in mind to help you implement new structures and changes. Together we will create a plan and strategies helping you solve common problems associated with money choices, behaviors, and the day-to-day management of money issues. Clients begin to feel relief from financial stress, experience greater personal satisfaction, increased abundance, and enhanced success in life.
This can be accomplished in a series of weekly or bi-weekly sessions depending on your needs. In Money Coaching we have found that people derive greater benefits and changes by continuing to work on a weekly basis. However, I am committed to doing what works best for you.
Stage III- Accountability Plan
Shifting unconscious beliefs and patterns of behavior around money doesn’t happen overnight and requires time, patience and accountability. Your level of commitment and follow-through will determine your results. I will help you create stronger boundaries in your commitment toward implementing your goals. As issues come up they will be discussed, working toward resolution with specific action steps. You will learn how to bring more balance into your life with time management activities, creating a greater peace of mind. You will see significant changes in how you are “being” around money. You were not meant to do this alone. I am committed to seeing your success so you can fully experience your true potential.
The Money Coaching Process will help you to understand and change the hidden money patterns and beliefs that are barriers to experiencing the peace of mind and prosperity you deserve. My intention is to help facilitate positive change by helping you break through old patterns, develop new awareness, and implement life-changing strategies that will help you live with greater ease and abundance.
